Assistant to Chief Operations Officer
Career Description and Responsibilities
Job Description:
-
The assistant to the COO will provide professional assistance to the COO in supervising and managing the daily operations of the following departments:
-
Billing and Collections, Human Resources, Purchasing, Maintenance, Information Technology, New Clinic Start-Ups
-
Anything task that will support the COO in his performance will be required from this position.
Activities:
-
Assist in identifying, developing and direct the implementation of Chiro One vision, strategic goals, objectives and business strategy.
-
Assist with the Planning, give direction and leadership toward the companies activities to achieve stated/agreed targets, metrics and standards for financial performance.
-
Support the selection and development of senior management as department head team members.
-
Direct functions and performance via weekly management meetings
-
Maintain and develop company culture, values and reputation in chiropractic industry, markets and with all team members.
-
Prudently manage company’s resources.
Assist in the creation of new site locations based on determined demographic parameters.
Requirements:
The assistant to the COO will assist in the supervision and operations of six administrative departments including but not limited to the analysis, review and audits of all department performances. Staying updated with the rules and regulations of proper documentation and coding edits. Assist with the continual training of team members on implantation of recent enhancements to protocol and procedures. Assist with maintaining compliance with state and federal laws regarding facilities, HIPPA, and labor laws. Assist with monitoring bi-monthly payroll and department budgets. Assist with staying ahead of clinical standards through literature review, research and applications. Assist with negotiating deals with vendors for better pricing and priority service agreements. Assist with negotiating new site lease terms. Assist with meeting with architect and general contractors for floor plan designs and construction. Assist with budgeting the build out and new equipment acquisition.

Senior Accountant
Career Description and Responsibilities
Function:
Principal responsibility will be to perform daily bookkeeping and accounting for our clinics (1/3 of time). The person will assist with operational support to clinics and financial reporting (1/3 of time) and with special projects as needed (1/3 of time).
Requirements:
-
Minimum 3-5 years work experience in typical business accounting functions such as accounts receivable, account payable, reconciling bank accounts, and monthly closing.
-
Proficient with Excel and QuickBooks.
-
4 year college degree in related field.
-
Passed the US CPA exam within last 5-7 years *.
-
Familiarity with business banking procedures
-
Ability to work 45-50 hours per week in our Oak Brook headquarters.
-
Able and willing to take on supervisory tasks as his/her experience grows.
-
Able to function well in a rapidly growing, small company with a complex organization structure.

Comfortable with evolving job responsibilities
* Prefer a candidate who also has worked recently as a licensed CPA in Illinois and has kept current with CPE
It will be highly desirable if the candidate has one or two of these characteristics:

Work experience in a health care company (chiropractic, doctor, or dentist) with multiple locations.

Experience with MS Access or Crystal Reports

Familiarity with concepts of internal audit and controls.

Career Description and Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain technological system to ensure proper function of networks and applications to support accurate data exchange. Daily routine maintenance of equipment and service calls for urgent repairs and supplies.

Business Development Account Executive
Career Description and Responsibilities
Identifies, pursues, and secures new business for Chiro One Wellness Centers through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers to support the vision and mission of the enterprise.
Communicates with new and existing clients on an ongoing basis to establish and maintain strong working relationships. Negotiates terms of business with client. This position has a key role in generating leads, opening doors and securing appointments with decision makers, calling on potential new accounts as well as growing existing business and corporate relationships.
Responsibilities of Position:

Responsible for the identification, negotiation, and analysis of new business opportunities for
the Chiro One Wellness Centers.

Organically grows existing business and client relationships.

Responsible to meet specific key metrics as follows:

Generate a minimum of 75 external marketing events per month.

Develops and implements plans and strategies for the development of new business
opportunities, increasing market share and brand awareness for Chiro One.

Provides the experience necessary to plan, organize, and successfully negotiate and structure
new business proposals

Oversees the implementation and follow-up on business agreements

Communicates the progress toward business development milestones to the DBD.

Attends meetings and conducts presentations to effectively describe and promote capabilities
