Dr. Katy Karvola

Originally from Novi, MI, Dr. Katy Karvola is proud to call Glendale Heights home and serves as Clinic Director of Chiro One Wellness Centers of Huntley. Dr. Katy suffered a swimming related back injury at the age of 16 and after being misdiagnosed by medical professionals and taking multiple pain medications, Dr. Katy discovered the healing power of chiropractic. Having experienced a great loss from not being able to swim and all the pain she endured, Dr. Katy was inspired to become a chiropractor so that she could empower others with their health and wellness.

Dr. Katy completed her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management from Cleary College in Ann Arbor, MI and her Bachelors of Human Biology at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. Following her undergraduate work, Dr. Katy completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences (Lombard, IL) and is a Certified Acupuncturist.

Dr. Katy is a member of United States Masters Swimming and is a life-long competitive swimmer. Spending time with her husband, Kyle, family and yellow lab, Norman are her favorite past-times. Dr. Katy also enjoys traveling and treating families, athletes and kids of all ages.

Dr. Katy believes "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."
