Dr. Sylvia Kim

Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Sylvia Kim recently relocated from the Lone Star State of Texas and serves as the Clinic Director of Chiro One Wellness Centers of Wheeling. “I became a chiropractor when I realized I wanted to help keep people healthy before they became ill with disease and pain. I have a commitment to helping people maintain a healthy lifestyle through chiropractic care by educating and serving my community to ensure many generations of healthy families,” states Dr. Kim.

She has earned a BS in Biology, a DC from Parker College of Chiropractic, multiple certifications in Applied Kinesiology, Acupuncture, Graston Soft Tissue, Webster's Technique, and has also completed over 100 hours of Pediatric and Prenatal care studies. As an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, she has lobbied in Washington D.C. for better chiropractic benefits for active military, veterans, and their family members.

Dr. Kim is very excited about sharing her knowledge with the Wheeling community and making it the healthiest through education and service. Participating in charitable outreach events such as Kid's Day America, Breast Cancer Awareness events, and by giving talks to local organizations, she strives to educate as many people as possible. She lives by the philosophy: “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” (Thomas A. Dr. Sylvia currently resides in the city of Chicago and enjoys reading, travelling, and volunteering within the community. A former Concert Pianist, playing since she was 5 years old,Dr. Sylvia has competed at an international level, but now enjoys playing as a hobby.
