Chiro One is reaching out to community, joining the fight against hunger
Oak Brook, IL – October 21, 2009 – Over the last year, the economic situation has intensified, and has left thousands of local families in need of help. Chiro One Wellness Centers is joining the fight against hunger by hosting their 4th Annual Share the Abundance Food Drive to collect nonperishable food items to be given to the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Northern Illinois Food Bank in Illinois and the Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children and Youth and the Ashland Community Kitchen in Kentucky. Beginning November 2nd, you can assist by donating items such as peanut butter, tuna and other non-perishable food items at a Chiro One near you.

Thanks to the generosity of Chiro One Wellness Centers' patients and staff, hundreds of children in need are enjoying the spirit of the season and receiving a holiday gift. Chiro One Wellness Centers collected more than $50,000 worth of new toys and gift cards for homeless children during its fourth annual Giving Tree Toy Drive. Gifts donated during December were given to children in need through Dreams for Kids Children's Charity and Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center.

When an imbalance is found, chiropractic staff said it could indicate spine misalignment. The father and son, who live in Robbins, found out their balance was a bit off, and learned they could follow-up privately with X-rays and possibly physical therapy.
