Bonita Scudella

My name is Bonita, and I would like to share my story with you. Two years ago, I noticed that I was having some problems in my left side. I was in pain. When I went to the doctors for this, they told me that I had arthritis, and would have to take pain medication. As it got worse I was told I should be on steroids and that I would need a knee replacement! I could not do the things that I wanted to anymore. Because of the pain, I could not bowl well, ride a bike for any distance, or go for long walks; all things that I loved to do. I always ended up in pain and limping.

That is how things were going for me when I found myself attending the annual chili cook off at the Palos Park District. It was there that I met Dr. Adam and his staff from Chiro One. Now, I had no experience with chiropractic, but my friend had been encouraging me to go see one, so I set up an appointment for a consultation. I found the people very friendly; they really take an interest in you as a person and your care! It was a great environment, so I signed on for care.

Since being under care, my bowling has gotten better because I am in little pain now. I can actually bend at the foul line like I should!! I am now able to go for a long walk and not be limping afterwards, and even going up stairs and sitting in an Indian position is no problem for me! Thank you Dr. Adam and staff!
